Third in a series is quite sad in the beginning.

Liz,
Your writing is unique; I didn't get it at first, but the metaphor is sweet and appealing.
It's a darling story, covering a life more complex than is portrayed here.
I really enjoyed it.
Good luck with this and all your writing.
Blessings,
Cindy

Thank you for your delightful review. I'm glad you are getting it, Yes, this is an autobiographical allegory about me and my animals & a few people in my life. This book unlike the first 2 addresses the pain of my losses. But finally, I have my cat Sammy, a bit of a challenge, but I love him.

Liz, Very compelling, your depiction of the one kitty still moving and his mother and two sisters having crossed over the Rainbow Bridge made me cry

Thank you for your supportive review. It turned out, the little (never) Maine Coon wasthe only left. The caring women got him to a vet and saved his life. He's been a challenge as will be revealed in the next chapters, but I love him.

    Awww... That truly hurts
my heart. I love Maine Coons. Poor baby probably has PTSD. Animals know so much more than we keep them credit for. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for the lovely review. It brings sunshine. Someone else new to the group gave me 3 stars. I don't think anyone on here deserves a mark equal to a C. Now I've vented to you as a welcome...bwaaa. Actually that person had not even written ANYTHING. I am happy to help new comers. I had some caring people who have slowly shown me the ropes.

I enjoyed the symbolism behind how the hearts are like a cave, showing the hollowness in their hearts without their loved ones. Honestly I feel if you went into deeper detail, it would be a way of keeping the reader engages as well as add imagery to the story.

Thank you for your interested review. It is difficult coming in cold. I'm not sure why you gave me a mark equal to a C in class. This is more than average writing. This is the 3rd in a series with the reading audience around grade 4+
& the age of about 9+ years old. The 1st two are on Amazon.
I'm glad you liked the metaphors. I love using metaphors.

This is another excellent chapter. The sense of loss comes through loud and clear. I look forward to the next chapter. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Lovely anthropomorphic writing - I think that's the right word - and a perfect tone for children. I really enjoyed this little world and the subtle introduction of fear throughout is most effective.

The little kitty they found certainly had his problems. His decision to be a bully gets him sent to another home where he was less likely to bully. But he was certainly not nice to Jazzy in his new home.

Thank you for your appreciative review. This is close to fact. He is 5 years old, was only 5 weeks old. He is still quite feral but we are bonding. He's a big Maine Coon like Scruffles my 1st cat was. He'd definitely take Jazzy down now.

This definitely was a great continuation chapter, Liz. Bea and Billie met with Osala and kitty Osala but they were at the hands of a bully, which was fixed substantially. I praise the others- Billie, Jazzy, Scruffles, Sweet Puppy, Annie, and Stormy. They were all part and parcel in this. Blessings n Hugs!!!

More new characters! I wasn't quite sure about the rescued kitty and I'm a little confused about Osala and the kitty with the same name. Could the kitty have a variation like Osalita or something?

But I really liked "how there needed to be tears on our cheeks to feel the rainbow in our hearts." And it's so good that both Billie and Bea have such big hearts!

Comments:
Her mom double-check to see (double-checked)
Osala set him carefully onto the soft cedar bows (boughs?)

Thank you for your involved review. OMG of course it is 'boughs. I'll have to check if I've spelled it like that any other place. bwaaa. When I asked the woman who rescued my cat the names for her & her kitty. She requested Osala for both. This all happened. My Sammy was very feral & rough with both Osala & her kitty and over whelming for my nunmate Michele (Billie bear) & her dog Jazzy.

Thank you for sharing this post with us. I can't wait to read what's going to happen next.

Billie bear (I'm curious. If Billie Bear, is his name, then the entire name should be capitalized, if not, then it's okay as is.)
