That blackbird's songs of ill omen didn't come true with the promising dawn covers my window glass. But that aside it did make for a wonderful poem and presentation that was a blessing to read.

It's good that dawn covers the window with hope despite the ominous feel of the blackbird. It's too bad that people make up terrible stories about black birds and cats etc. They are just as beautiful!

I love black birds. I think they are so beautiful. Ravens and crows are incredibly smart. I've never heard of black birds being an omen except that the raven means death. Great poem. Gretchen

My mother told me that if blackbird came into the house it was a bad omen. She was very supersticious.
