This four liner is rich in imagery. The message metaphorically took me to the hundreds of situations where a boundary isn't the separation of two entities as much as the integration of a third entity. How that simplifies and complicates things.

It's hard to believe you presented such a beautiful image in just four lines! But, I didn't see anything about corn in a drum. Only kidding! Earth is much higher percentage of sea than land, so it would make perfect sense that the land would be viewed as "ocean's conundrum".

I like the unique description in this poem. The Satori is very interesting. I invited friends to my condo on Lake Superior and every day we look out the window and see the sea-land merging into one. It's very calming.
Well done.

This is so good Lea. Once again your economy of expression makes me gasp. Love the splitting of the jade belly! And in the midst is the history of the making of the world! And, Conundrum is such a good word. Well done! (A couple of typos need correcting - I've sent you a message.) John x

Hi Lea,
Usually I quickly understand all what you write and I specifically like your poems. I have to admit that this one left some questions I need to ask you:
Did you mean 'ocean's conundrum?
Also I couldn't find the meaning of ' begon'... I know ' begone'...
Lastly, did you mean: 'where many say'...?
Thank you for clarifying!!!

Well, I guess I never thought of the ocean coexisting with the land with contentiousness. But now that you mention it, if someone split my belly, I would have consternation about that lol. interesting.
