Where did you find this crazy art where these animals are doing impossible things?
Your tongue twisters with alliteration are great. Children will like them.
Excellent and good luck.

Thanks very much for your 6-star review, Lisa. It's amazing what you can find on the internet these days. There's a picture for just about anything. I even found one with a monkey climbing on a prickly cactus, but didn't have room for it. The most surprising one to me was to find a panda in a kilt playing the bagpipe. I just put that into Google and it came up with several.

Yes. There is a lot of pictures to write poems about. But I like to use my own photos so when you publish these poems, you wouldn't have copy right problems.

You did a great job, Jim, with your fun poem.
I enjoyed reading it and know youngsters of all
ages would enjoy it, too. Your words were fun to
read aloud, the rhymes worked well, and the imagery
created was awesome.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Thanks very much, Jan, for your wonderful review. I wish I could have found an image for each stanza, but ran out of room.

I really enjoyed this wonderful day at the circus! Thank you inviting us to join in your outing. The animals were most amusing. I hope you will find more interesting field trips for me and my friends!

holy mackanoly! as somebody said. That had me chuckling, thinking of your thinking all that up! I bet you had to be laughing, too.
What a tongue twister! Oh, I see, the skunk part was a funny friend, well the rest was pretty wonderful! Loved reading it out loud. It will surely be
enjoyed by oldsters as well as youngsters.
Congratulations on All Time Best!

Thank you so much, Katharine. I've known that tongue twister for a long time and thought it would fit into this poem very well.

This is precious and so fun, Jim. I'm sure every child and the young at heart love this. Silly was my nickname growing up. You pushed my silly button with this riotous contest entry.
Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the upcoming contest.

I'm betting the picture inspired the poem. For sure, this would make a great children's book. I chucked at 'hoarse horse' and the panda that sounded as if he'd been pricked by a cactus. You're really good at these plays on words.

Thanks very much, Shari.
Actually, I wrote it first then (amazingly enough) I was able to find pictures to match. It's amazing what you can find if you put in the right search words. There were several of panda bears wearing kilts playing bagpipes, believe it or not.

Aww. This was so good. Such lovely imagery and such easy, clever and natural rhyme and rhythm. Absolutely loved it ... until the last line! I'm sorry but that cliche really spoilt it for me. Otherwise great. John

Thank you for your nice review, John. Your criticism of the last line was a fair one. I can only hope a child with much less experience won't find it to be a cliche.
