I can definitely relate to wanting to touch hearts with the music we write. I also understand (and have shared) the dream to play guitar, either electric or acoustic. It's a fantastic instrument. A guitarist can take it to most places and just start playing ...

    I love solos played with the electric guitar .. most of Rod Stewart hits have short solos.

    I still play my LPs on my father s old Kenwood.

    I also love the guitar in Spanish Flamenco.

    Have you heard the song "Innuendo" by Queen? The guitar in that is pretty spectacular. There's a section of it that sounds a bit Spanish.

    Yes, I'm a big fan of Freddie...the guitar part does sound Spanish

    Have you heard of the Gypsy Kings ?

    I love their sound and the guitar plays a big part in their music.

    You don't have to know Spanish to enjoy their music.

    No, I hadn't heard of Gypsy Kings before, but I enjoyed listening. Thanks for sharing, and well done for being technical enough to include the song in your reply. I wouldn't know where to start with that.

    In Europe the Gypsy Kings are famous since the 80s

    To add a video on fanstory they must be embedded.

    So :


    picked a video on your computer

    Then punch the word SHARE which you will find directly below the video.

    A window will open

    Punch the word embed

    Another window will open on the right hand side

    Copy embed link

    And then paste where you want on fanstory

    Violà

Though a nonet doesn't require rhyme, you did an amazing job with yours. Not just the ending rhymes but the internal rhymes, giving it a rap rhythm to it. Maybe not a rock star, but you're still writing 'music that excites'. Thanks for sharing, and best wishes in the contest.

This is a well done rhyming nonet. It is good to see one for they are rare.
Even some internal rhyme mixed in with the end rhyme.
I think a lot of teenagers have this dream, if they have any kind of musical talent.
