Another fine poem, Gypsy....and some people would choose to believe his words of the moment and stay, hoping somehow he changes. But a leopard can't change his spots, or at least without a lot of bleach!

Ouch! and more Ouch! The person you write about is a horrible person, who only thinks of themselves. The narrator in this poem needs to get as far away from this person as possible. Your poem is filled with heart ache. You did a wonderful job describing the pain.

Expressive. Hope it's fictional! If not, good riddance for sure. The emotional tenor is intense and effective. Good presentation too!
I love the AHA effect of the closing single word line ANYMORE...implying you realize you used to need 'love crumbs' but now you've transcended that need. 'Looking for our dying love' is great phrasing too.
