I could get myself in trouble saying too much, but I will say this was very entertaining and describes just how much our culture has changed over the years. I enjoyed your written flow of thought from beginning to end. Those last three paragraphs were a great wrap-up. I think there is a problem now-a-days in that young girls don't know any different because they look around and see the norm within today's society.

The problem came about by the allowance of salacious programming to take charge nightly, and the fashion industry of promoting what is worn. There are few outlets that sell modest clothing.

Skirts have gone up and down for years. By the early sixties they were up and hot pants were in. I believe it wasnt' the first time slyles were above the knees. I understand the roaring twenties bearly had them covering the bare essentials. But men always claim they grew up never seeing more than a bare ankle. Most of those covered packages you are going have the opporturnity to unwraps. Anyway when men come out with the cow joke, I've heard a few women who don't really want to marry, have their own comeback about not buying a pig.

I agree totally. Many woman taunt by putting everything on show and then feeling "devalued" and "violated" when men react with their natural instincts. A wise man once said that men are aroused by sight, but women by touch. Women exercising their "freedom" to dress as they please in this way often brings consequences they don't want to accept, and they are not being fair to men. Well written.

Interesting comments . I have to agree with you, however some will say a woman has a right to dress the way you want. I remember classifying those dressing with class and those who dressed cheap. It is not so easy now. I see pictures of my 14 year old grand niece showing way to much.

Agency allows people to do as they feel but 'choosing the right' comes with positive consequences or blessings, let's say, whereas anything less might receive negative consequences. As Fram filters used to advertise: Pay me now or Pay me later.

They are more likely to attract a good man, rather than a man who just wants sex. However, I also do believe that women should be able to dress just how they like without having to consider how men will look at them.
