Hello, Linda,
I know how you feel, in 2017 to 2019 I could not write anything worth reading. For me, it was depression. But eventually I found my muse again, you will too.

We all have times when we stare at a blank screen and nothing shows up. But it will come, Linda, you are the voice of many, you boost the moral of so many. You just have to put your fingers on the keyboard and the words will come.

OK sweet you...I put my fingers on the keyboard...
and I fall asleep...LOL...no one to wake me up...
I keep saying when things slow down...concentration will
return...but then something else happens...sigh...
all in God's time I suppose...maybe I could borrow your
muse...you know the one with the monkey face...the big ears...
and the puffing cigarettes' hanging off of his mouth...the one I ran into...he seemed like a good Joe...and he hangs right in
there with you...hmmmmm....

I find writing without expectation just simply as a release and pleasure helps me get words written.

Hi Shirley, years ago I couldn't drive down
the road with poetry flooding my head...
now I start a poem...and so much other stuff
pops into my head...
