Lol. Well, when the list of things to do is too long, then it's very unmotivating and so I can understand the need to sit down and rest. Perhaps alternate between viewing and cleaning. I'm alternating between reviewing and packing!

Thank you so much! I mainly keep the television on for company, so I do pretty much everything with it on. However, you are very correct - that list is definitely not motivating in the least.

A fun romp through this verse, calculating what needs to be done in a way that might indicate that you're actually doing the tasks! You're not of course and I'm not sure you will when the television is switched on! Believe me, I know the feeling! So easy to postpone these often soul-destroying jobs! Your verse reads well and has a jaunty little rhythm in-keeping with the sentiments (if not the doing!) of activity! Good luck in the contest! Debbie

Thank you so much! I am glad that you enjoyed this piece. I always have the television on to keep me company, and I can hear it while I am doing my housework. Sometimes, I forego the television and turn on the radio or some vinyl.
