Debra, I thought I reviewed this yesterday, but it appears to have not been saved and sent. (Or it was and you're getting two reviews!)
I was just reading this morning on the growling and slurging the stomach does after we eat and the reasons why (intestines pushing food through causes the swishy noises).
Anyway, your poem is delightful as is your image. I didn't realize the stomach was so cute!

The rhymes and meter are not forced and they flow well.
the structure makes sense, it draws on emotions and it presents strong images.

Well this is both informative and great fun! I always thought those noises came when your tummy is not so happy. Nice, original verse - ideal for children as well as adults - there is excellent rhyming pattern, smooth flow and that onomatopoeia you're so good at! Think you should create your own dictionary of sounds as well! Take care Debra. Debbie x
