I like your Cinquain poem- excellent picture presentation- poem flows well - especially like the rhyming quality- you notes are emasculate!- very informative- poems describing perfectly the life of the lotus flower- as it correlates with life itself - good job AP

The picture was definitely interesting, it included the lotus and the sleeping young woman, Gypsy. Your words were correct in that the lotus does indeed rise up. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

That's a lovely way to look at the lotus flower which can grow and bring beauty despite the all the "muck and mire" of the world around her. Beautiful presentation as always!

I like the idea of rising about the muck and mire. We need to do that in our daily lives, so we do flourish. Your wisdom shines through with this lovely poem. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I would love to take the credit but the Symbolism is a Japanese concept. I love it.

A lovely presentation of this age-old flower which holds such symbolism, its beauty seeming to flow from nowhere. Your verse skilfully captures this moment of flourishing from the murky depths. An awakening and inspiring moment. Thanks for sharing. Debbie
