A very moving verse wonderfully expressed with a strong message of hope woven throughout. I note it was written for a friend in treatment and your goodbye to that friend makes the verse even more poignant. I think your imagery in this verse is excellent and it is difficult to pick out an example because you are consistent all the way through. However, maybe the last stanza which concludes your verse so impressively: "in the steadiness and crystalline growth of rediscovery even though things may churn or quake"
A skilful and evocative message to us all! Well done. Debbie

To compare a friend to the earth in all its dimensions, its beauty, its strength and resilience is the ultimate tribute. This is a beautiful letter of affection and support. Well done!
