Having grown up in Illinois where we actually had winter, I do miss the beautiful snow and the snow and ice sticking to the bare branches. It was beautiful. Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem and reminding me of the beauty.

I'm doing well...now that Summer is
setting in...I have a ton of things
I plan on doing around my house...

babysitting took up a lot of my time...
but school is out...and my girlfriend
will be watching her daughters baby...
most of the time...

I am doing well. I babysit my grandson too. He has been going to school but he will have summer vacation too, so I will be busy with him again. He is a wonderful little man, 5 years old.

I love the kids when they are 5,6,7...
their at that age they love to do things
outside...their a bit more independent...
but they do wear a person out...

I like the alliteration and assonance in your poem - winds whistle, boughs and blow; trees with leaves. Nothing says winter like the leaf-less trees and cold winds blowing.
