This is definitely a fable for children.
Your writing style is good and easy to follow. You could visualize Bea strolling on the lane... what Bea encounters.... Why Bea can have long time friends
Thanks for sharing

Well this is very interesting and very well written. What a position you've chosen to from the point of a bear very cool and a very neat idea! I could appreciate your imaginative storytelling and your colorful characters for which I was enamored from the beginning so a very interesting read from beginning to end.
I see no grammatical issues no spelling punctuation sentence structure or word choice issues a tall. It's a fine submission from a fine writer! I wish you the best to f*** and I hope your evening is grand!

This is an interesting allegory. I enjoyed it very much. I do think there are a lot of things in nature from which we might be able to find an allegory for our own lives. I wish you the very best in all of your writing. Patricia

What a wonderful way to describe all those emotions for Bea! First, she was pulled out of depression into a realization about the maker renewing her. Then she had the amazing reunion with a dear friend from her past. Although I wish for more dialogue, I do love the way your described the spiritual experience of the renewal.

So glad bee found Billie bear once again. Time has kept them apart for nineteen long years. Maybe her hound is starting to come to and end and she'll be able to find happiness there in the new place.

Is this the end, then? Did the wee Bear find what she was searching for and get her answer? Or is this just a pause before the next part begins? Happiness should be the end we all seek.

Oh yes, a good parent, as real bears and other creatures are, raise their cubs or kittens, or whatever they might be, to be independent one day, that's the way it is for nature's survival. As we let our children grow in a healthy environment, the cope with adulthood best. Beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy

This is very good writing and a very good story. Thank you for sharing it with us.
It was glorious, til came the nudge from the maker of searching (I googled 'til' because it seemed a little strange to me. Until or till are correct. Til is taking some liberties. You might want to think about it.)
Elated, Bea, danced and hummed a tune of happiness. (omit the comma after 'Bea')

Thank you for your supportive review. I have acted upon your observations. Til or even 'til is my Vermont dialect coming through.

Wow! This was a fantastic continuation chapter, Liz. It almost reminded me of a time when it was time to let go of all that I had found. Billie Bear was close by and Bea knew it. It was almost time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. Well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings n Hugs!!!

Comment from Debbie D'Arcy
This chapter has a particularly strong faith-inspired theme with Bea's meditation reaching a new level of awe and wonder. Everything about the way this story continues is alive with imagery and imagination. Nature ( restless bees in her tummy; thoughts splashing around like river fish etc) becomes integrated with Bea so they become one and at one. Her fears are growing and she doesn't want this journey to end. Then the happy reunion with Billie after that evocative time span of nineteen long dark snows is superbly expressed. The contrast of this happy moment after her 'what if' moment gives a special resonance to this meeting. Thanks for sharing. Debbie
