The picture was of 'Beauty vs. Ugly', damommy. I personally think it is beautiful because we don't understand the rhinoceros fully well. It is indeed a beautiful beast, even magestic. He was an aristocrate in his world. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings n Hugs!!!

I don't know much about this animal, if I'm being honest. All I have heard is about how the horn is made of hair and that they have very angry temperament but I don't even know if that information is true. I did enjoy your poem. You managed to make me look at them in a different light. Thank you for posting. Gretchen

wonderful things about this "noble beast.
-The second verse shows how these
creatures are hunted because of their horns,
and what a horrible thing that is; he
doesn't bother others as he's
"happily grazing with his herd."
-A very good closing line makes a good point
and the last line is most fitting for his place in the world.

Our idea of beauty to so influenced and distorted by a commercial, unnatural world that I think we miss so much of what is beautiful. Your poem helps to remind us that there are many attributes that makes someone or something beautiful. This is a majestic animal, designed by God.

A very gentle and thoughtful poem highlighting the attributes of the rhino. What a shame he is still being hunted. As you say, he does not hurt other animals, and there is something very appealing about him and his majestic appearance. Well written poem for the prompt.

I like it that you see beauty. Such beasts have feelings and a heart that beats. They may look ? different? but I think they are beautiful in their own way as are all animals.

Poachers have a windfall killing this beast for their horn and sell them to the Chines for some type of cure for sickness. What a waist You did good with this post. /
