I love your story, Wendy. Looks like this man faces heavy fines, and picked the wrong motorist to get angry at. Let's hope he learned a valuable lesson.

Wendy, this is so funny and a perfect example of a successful 80 word flash fction. It fliws smoothly (no speeding here) and is timed with precision. Good luck in the contest.

I love this! An unmarked police car is trolling along and a man who is annoyed passes the car not knowing it is what it is he gets a hefty fine for obscenity and tail-gating and for driving with a hand outside the car and for the other car it is all in a day's work! Haha, I love it!
Thanks for the laughs!

Good writing and all said in 80 words. I sure would like to see more
police cars watching the traffic today. Since Covid lockdown, every time
I drive through the city streets, I see cars going through red lights.

I enjoyed this piece of flash fiction. I got a laugh out of the end when the man was ticketed by the woman. Thank you so much for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Well told flash fiction story of two drivers, one who had the final smile one who didn't. The anger and aggression of some drivers is a worry on our roads. Good luck in the contest Wendy. I enjoyed it, cheers.

Nice micro flash, Wendy. Australia definitely has some different lingo for driving than here in the US. Not to mention a fine for a body part outside the vehicle. Maybe such a fine would cut down on road rage.
I didn't expect that ending either. Great job, and best wishes in the contest.

Thank you very much Faith, for the review and for the good wishes. Yes, these laws are a bit different from yours, but most people are happy to follow them for safety reasons.
Glad you enjoyed the story and its ending.

It looks like the bad driver was asking for it. If that was his typical way of driving, he was bound to run into an unmarked police car at some point. I love that she smiled and he didn't. LOL

This post was actually quite funny. I can imagine the "oh, shit" face the other driver had as she flipped on the siren. Wonderful little flash fiction! ~Heather

Than you for a super review. Yes, I believe he said at least that, or maybe more. Would love to have seen his face! And hers!

I loved this entry Wendy. I watched a couple of impatient girls in a convertible down in Florida years ago. They did the same thing, harassing my dad in his car. Then they proceeded to speed around us and lost control of their car and smacked into a car in the next lane. It was poetic justice. We just laughed as we went by.
Thanks for sharing this.
Have a blessed day.

Thank you Tom for a super review. Also for the six lovely stars. Valued and appreciated. Well hopefully those girls learned a lesson, including not to harass older people.
