Yes, Ben, like all of us, are commanded to bring ourselves out from amongst the world and become a new creature, but it's never easy for born sinners. Thanks for sharing.

This is a faith-filled part of the story as Ben introduces the Indians to the love of God. Not only do they find joy in knowing that God loves them, but Ben also enjoys greater strength after the event. Very good way of telling the natives the story of Jesus.

Virtual six! I was hoping that Ben would preach the gospel to the Ute people and how wonderful that they responded. Also, how sensitive that Ben knew to use what the native peoples already believed as a launchpad for the full explanation of the gospel. In humility and while weak and wounded, he shared the power of the gospel so that Christ is honored not himself. Great job with this!

Thank you. That's exactly how I hoped this chapter would be received.

This was a very inspirational chapter, Wayne. For helping him to recover from his grievous wound, Ben pays the Indians back with a great gift of his own. He's certainly found a welcoming audience among the Ouray tribe as he spreads the word of the lord. Very nicely written. Jim

This is well done, Wayne. Obviously God had a hand is giving Ben the message the Utes could hear and understand and they have accepted it wholeheartedly. Well done my friend. Ben is indeed a messenger of God's word. Nancy:)

Thank you.
He has flaws, as do we all, but he's doing his best.

Ben found a link between his beliefs and those of the Utes, and was able to explain the Christian message in simple understable language, clearly understood by this audience, and their hearts had obviously been prepared by the Holy Spirit. An excellent chapter. Well done.

Afraid I missed a chapter somewhere. I finished the chapter just as Ben was entering the room. He hadn't been shot. I'm surprised I missed it, since I was keeping my eyes open for it. Anyway, this is a good followup chapter to it when the reader gets to see Ben at work on the Indian's, comparing his faith with their's.

Thank you.
I think the problem might lie in that FanStory won't allow partial chapters. To split a chapter, the second part has to be a stand-alone post.

Yeah, but whether it's a part-chapter or a whole chapter, it was a missed chapter. When I have time I'll go back and read it. I'm swamped right now.

I'm glad Ben appears to be recovering and is still busy doing the Lord work by winning the Utes to God. They seemed very willing to give up their tradition in favor of the God that Ben spoke off.

There is a certain buzz from being able to preach the gospel to a receptive, who have a sort of understanding in their spiritual, but to turn completely around is very difficult to do. And this sounds like the missions we hear of and marvel about, well done, blessings Roy
