Why is it I always get hopelessly lost in the best possible way when you write of romance? Oh right-- it's you! Always the woman with the silken words which flow as beautifully as joyful tears down a lover's cheek!
Who else would come up with: "I traveled a sea of time to see"
You're the best...

Well presented with great Artwork.
The Moon is an amazing large glowing orb of various colors.
(according to the seasons)
The Moon mimics the Sun and the Sun lights the day.
Both part of Heavenly Father's Great show!
Yes, for us to observe each and every day!
Thanks for sharing this and have a great day.

This was a wonderful tanka, Gypsy. The picture was perfect because it showed the lovers in bed and I do believe it was the blind I saw. Your words were wonderful. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

This moon's silver light sneaking through the blinds resembles it's spying on this couple. Yet, it highlights all the mountains, valleys, peaks of her curvy body. That's very sensual. This is another excellent poem. Thank you for sharing.

Good morning, Gypsy,
Truly one of your most beautiful and moving tankas that I have read to date.
I appreciate everything about your offering ranging from the form to imagery to message and the implementation of "sea to see."
A most memorable poetic offering.
Thank you for sharing!

A guess a "sea of time" is like a lifetime of seeking and yearning for that one true love. I also sense that the lovers are intimately acquainted with all the details of each other.

Comment from Gloria ....
Very good tanka here, as the moon certainly does traverse across vast seas to reflect its light onto Earth.
A little vicarious enjoyment I would imagine for the moon.
Beautiful presentation and a pleasure to read today.
