Hi Gypsy, your poem is filled with vivid imagery and great sensory appeal. With or without the photo. I can visualize the whole scene.
I especially liked:
her ashes drift
in summer's night breeze --
(Soulful)
Also, good vocabulary choice on the word, drizzle.
Well done. Excellent writing. A pleasure to read. Still behind on reviewing--better late than never. Xo. M

Hi Gypsy, this is such a serene nature setting about
scattering a deceased loved
ones ashes. The stars also
enhances with the beauty of
the eventide. Many of the
spring season's blessings to
you. ~

Hi MariVal,
This is good personification but it seems if ashes are falling in Summer, then it might have been hit by lightning. That makes it more the Tree of Death and not the Tree of Life.
It is beautiful artwork.
Keep writing and stay healthy

The light is from a dead woman's ashes falling over the tree of life so it's a zen way to see the complete cycle of life.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read and review my poem.

Stunning words and presentation. One can see it as a joyous celebration of a life and being remembered by those she left behind. It also can be seen as the true circle of life as life continues after she departs.
The beauty of it is that any interpretation by the reader is the right one.
Best wishes,
Mary

This is a beautiful poem. Life is a complete circle, not only for humans but all living creatures and I feel this poem describes that.
in summer's night breeze -- I'm wondering this it shouldn't be ' summer night's breeze' because the breeze occurred at night. It just might be me.

Of course the tree of life in reality is the tree which stole the life of Jesus, but it was the tree of life for those of us who realise why Jesus died and was raised to life, beautifully written Gypsy, blessings Roy

Gypsy,
I was really touched by this exceptional haiku poem! The way you use "drizzle" makes the woman 's passing seem like a celebration. You've chosen very beautiful graphics.
Blessings,
Cindy

Cool poem which makes me think of how much a life means even after the loved one dies. The drift off but the love that remains feeds the life that remains in all who cherished that person. In the Bible, in Proverbs, it says that Wisdom is the tree of life to all who hold on to her.
