What a touching poem. Love to know what each poet thinks of their mom; probably it will read; she's one of the million reasons why I love her. A mother's love is forever.

Your Mother's Day entry was awesome, Mystery Author.
The image was beautiful and set the perfect tone for your
special words. Those words flowed smoothly with great
rhymes, super details, and a perfect message. You covered
all moms whether they were the mom her kids grew up with
or the mom who gave birth to them but couldn't keep them.
However, those moms never forgot their baby. Moms are
God's gifts to mankind. Yes, it takes a special woman to be a
mom, then many moms become grandmoms--that's special
in its own way.

Excellent rhymes, excellent meter, and a theme all can relate to.
I like the M&M reference, hard on the outside, but sweet and soft on the inside.

My dear late mother made some decisions concerning me that I did not always agree with, but I will say to all who will listen. I am an 80 year old great grandfather with no arrests, no divorces, no lawsuit filed for or against. No spousal or child abuse charges, no problems wit IRS or anybody else. A Christian who struggles daily to live by the standards espoused by Jesus the Christ. There is only one driving reason behind my so far clean record, the desire to please my mom and to make her proud of me. I got so into that habit, that even though she has been dead for some years now I am still trying my best to obey her. Thank you for writing this wonderful tribute to mothers.
