A good response to this challenge June. I like that you bought the gluten intolerance into your story. Had me smiling from one GF and DF to those inter-spacers, I have sympathy. LOL
Nicely done,

I think you have done a fine job of creating a story around what happened in New Jersey. Unfortunately the extraterrestrials were allergic to wheat products.

Much enjoyed this and thank you for sharing. :)

Haha, I guess aliens can be picky about food, too.
I enjoyed your fun club response, June. You explained
the situation well. Your words were descriptive with smooth
flow and great details. At first, I thought the GF in the
title referred to girlfriend.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

I?m glad you enjoyed this weird story for my pastability club challenge. I can?t imagine how that pasta really got to those woods in New Jersey. As they say, truth is often stranger than fiction! Thanks for reading.

I enjoyed your story very much but now I want to know about the 500 lbs. of cooked pasta discovered in New Jersey. I just googled the article and all I can say is at least in your story, we know where the pasta came from and the reason!

This is a very interesting writing and I enjoyed it very much. I am thankful that I am not allergic to gluten. I have known people who have a gluten allergy though and it's very uncomfortable for them if they get it. I wish you the very best with all of your writing. Patricia

Aha, the pasta mystery has been solved. It is nice tot know the perpetrators didn't come from this planet. This is a cute flash. I can't imagine how there came to be so many news stories about pasta in the woods.

You made me smile with your inventive write June and I never like to eat pasta, it seems such a boring food when there are so many other choices, these Aliens should have chosen a roast Sunday dinner with Yorkshire puds! Ha ha ha, love Dolly x

It's fun to imagine extraterrestrials going from one planet to another and sampling food from each. Spaghetti appeals to everyone, so it's not surprising they would pack 500 pounds of it aboard their ship. I like how you explain how and why it was dumped. A fun story to read. Rod

Heh heh, the same thing that some of us suffer from, not me personally, it wasn't invented in my era, so we don't have it. We have a banquet at our church every month, and these food problems are dealt with. Beautifully written, blessings Roy

That's quite an imagination needed for that brief! And you definitely cracked it. It's humorous with a nice recipe in the middle and plenty of fun at the prospect of all that pasta being ejected from the spacecraft. Well written also with good paragraph spacing. I was a bit confused by the last sentence. Should that have read Definitely? Thanks for sharing. Debbie

Cataracts, arthritic fingers and devices with a mind of their own often make my posts a bit confusing. Thanks for the heads up and positive feedback!
