You are right to begin this chapter with Craig D. Lounsbrough's quote expressing his view that "coincidences" are NOT random in our lives. My own life experiences align with his comment on life's day-by-day complexity, as well as with events in your stories. How we react to each event in our lives determines the result, which in turn affects whatever follows. Your stories wisely exhibit that reality of life.
The first section of this chapter shows how coinciding events justified the presence of the Blind Detective and cold case team in the case of the Aspen Grove murders and their link to White Falls, New York.
In Section Two, another coincident is Tommy's decision to hold the hospital door to help people hurrying in or out before an impending thunderstorm arrives. His presence there enables him to notice that three men deliver clean linens, but only two drive away. Tommy's suspicions about that put him in place to find the note the third man dropped during the brief time while power was lost because of a lightning strike. That warns him about the plan to smuggle Fee out of the hospital on the coming Friday.
In Section Three, arriving Betty Jo Jenkins is met at her truck by Captain Hank Riley, who, with Simon, had taken care of her expected tasks, both in the barn and chicken coop, plus Simon was preparing an Italian dinner to share with his bride-to-be, Candace. In Section Four, Betty Jo is invited, much to her delight.
In Section Five, I like that angels peering in the window enjoyed seeing the dinner celebrating love blossoming in spring. The next coincidence is that Betty Jo has a wedding gown never worn, which she offers to let Candace try on.
Then in Section Six, in still another coincidence, the dress fits Candace beautifully. It is all connected, just as in real life.
Superb, and aptly illustrated. I'll certainly return to read what's next.

Thank you for the lovely review and generous stars, Mike. I'm glad you enjoyed it all and the Craig D. Lounsbrough's quote. I thought the quote tied this chapter together nicely. I'm glad you'll be staying tuned.
Sending you my best today as always.

You are most welcome, Sal. I'm enjoying this story more and more with each new chapter.
The protagonist in many crime stories has some romance between detective work; but this story has romances between detectives (Tommy and Willa), other characters (Simon and Candace), and possibly one more pair not even a couple yet. Throw in angels helping the good characters and thwarting the evil ones, plus peeking in the window to watch the dinner celebrating blossoming love; and only you could so smoothly orchestrate it all in such an entirely plausible way.
Yes, it is evident in this chapter that "coincidences" are not happenstance.
Of course I'll stay. :))))) -- Mike

This is another excellent chapter. You moved the story along nicely. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day. I look forward to the next chapter.

Another wonderful chapter. It's great that Betty Jo has a beautiful wedding gown in her closet for Candace to wear. One minor fix: It may have struck the (antennae) -- spelling. It's good that Tammy has been found. It sounds like Friday will be another exciting day in your story. Blessings. Carol

Hooray! It's good that Tommy was so alert and ready to check out anything that's amiss and he found a possible escape plan!
Loved your opening quote as I was thinking the same things as I meet these nice families wanting to buy our house. May the Lord provide and choose the right family.

You write that Candace touched the wedding dress "reverently." When I was trying on dresses for my wedding, I recall that they were all "just dresses" until I tried the one on that I would end up buying and wearing on my wedding day. I FELT like a bride in that dress!
Great chapter - can't wait for the next wedding and hoping that no harm comes to Simon and his bride.
Happy writing, Sal!

Good is coming to Miss Candace as she's getting ready for her marriage to Simon. Thank you for the characters and the information, as to who they are. You will never know how that clarifies your story.

A bit of intrigue and mystery and a whole passel of romance! Unlike any other writer here, you have a way of keeping the element of romance floating nearby even at the height of adventure. Well done.
The smell of Italian food premeated the sprawling, country home. [I believe you mean "permeated". An easy mistake to make.]
Bring on Simon and Candace's wedding!

Fitzgerald Elling will never escape as the blind girl is on his case, he's a goner now, and serve his life in the slammer, unless he slips on a banana peel and something regrettable happens, good to see miracles happening with Betty Jo setting up, beautifully written Sally, blessings Roy
Typo : Betty turned around and (clappped) her hands. Clapped?

I done this review because it was short I haven't gotten paid . Sally knows I am not a patient person, I love her stories and Isit on the edge of my seat wanting her to hurry writing more!it has always been that way for me because due is a terrific story teller.
I wish I was as gifted as her when it comes to telling stories, she has quite a way of putting things into prospective than me.
