I believe your last line was cause for the 6 star rating. It was very good and culminated your fine piece of writing. Obidient is spelled 'obedient' Other than that, very nice.

I edited the spelling mistake. ( smile)
Thank you also for the huge score , it didn?t do well in the contest.
Glad you liked my choice to close the poem on those final words.
I think one needs to actually see what Christ went through to get a better understanding of his pain and his immense love for us.
Many criticise Mel Gibson s use of violence in the flogging scene.
I don?t agree for that is how painful and bloody it was.
Reading about it is not as impactful as seeing it.

yes, I agree.

You have penned a really sorrowful, yet beautiful, Bible-based acrostic poem. The crucifixion of Jesus is deeply sorrowful, but the most beautiful expression of God's love for us. Well done!

Great poem, fantastic layout. I really enjoyed how you highlighted in red the first letter of each line. The blood of Christ? Excellent contender for the competition. Best of luck. Jacqueline

That was the idea .. have you watched The Passion by Mel Gibson?
One needs to watch it to really understand the pain Jesus suffered ..
The whip used to flog Christ had hooks so once it was bedded in it would tear the skin away.
I read that many victims ended up with their rib cage exposed on their back.
Thank you for the kind review.
