I can see how the story would appeal to a fourth grader. It is wonderfully written, and I enjoyed listening to it. I do wish you the very best with your book and I pray that you have a good day. Patricia.

Thank you for mentioning your Fanstory friends and your teaching experience!!
I especially liked the Bea came to a solution to those bees of anxiety even when she didn't have her stepstool or be-good-to-me treats. She recognized her tendency to worry. ("Her rambling thoughts most always carried her to the worst of times.) She prayed. ("After doing her talk with the maker of solutions,") Then she remembered past successes. (".. she had coped, made it through those difficult times and had survived.") And she also remembered her mother's compliments to embolden her.
Now I hope they all got out safely. Bea will have a much bigger family now.

If it would be useful, of course, you can use it! I hope my review for your first edition helps even it wouldn't let me add it to the new book. 💞
