Third in a series is quite sad in the beginning.

"be good to myself" is an interesting name for honey.

Seems Bea is quite a worrier, but a problem solver as well.

A couple sentences in this seemed to read awkward including "Her rambling thoughts most always carried her to the worst of times." Maybe change most to almost?

Thank you for your involved review. I just realized my use of 'most' vs 'almost' is dialectally influenced. Thank you for pointing that out.

Thanks for sharing this latest instalment focussing on Bea who, no matter what, will worry and self question about everything! This will undoubtedly appeal to children as well as the inner child and send a reassuring message that, with encouragement and positive thinking, we can all keep sight of 'the glowing light.' Thanks for sharing and good luck in your endeavours. Debbie

I applaud the drive to rescue the puppies from the dogcatcher, and casting the oft-misunderstood creatures snake and spider in heroic roles.
I knew a dogcatcher who used to deliver my dog back home for a $20- fee, no questions asked. :-) Julie x

Thank you for your involved review. I also had a dog catcher friend who was always there for me too. I imagine there are some opposite of those we know.

I love your bee stories it reminds me you can do anything if you put your mind to it. The doulitions will come to you if you keep an open mind to the situation at hand.

I wonder if a bear, (something like Pooh Bear) would have a bee colony living within him, manufacturing honey all the time, but it can only happen in a story. I love the mixture you have here Liz, I've always liked conversational writing, and the inner thoughts and imagination which you, a sort of stream of consciousness, (my accuses me of all the time, but I think that's a foundational necessity for a writer I think. We've always had four legged family members, but I've rarely written with them in a poem or story, except biographical memories of these extraordinary creatures, beautifully written Liz, blessings Roy

Thank you for your inquisitive review. We get butterflies in our tummy when we have anxiety. What better image for a bear than to have agitated bees in her tummy?

Thank you for continuing this story with us. I enjoyed reading. I can see young readers being able to associate themselves with what's happening in the story. At least I hope they can.

I so enjoyed reading this, and how you came to know about FS. I came upon it by pure accident in 2014. I agree with you there are so many talented writers here who has been a great support and inspiration, not to mention all the help they are offering. I have learned so much.
Now to Bea, she seems to be very preoccupied with all the threats she perceives are out there. I'm looking forward to what's next. Ulla:)))

This was a fantastic continuation chapter, Liz. Of all the things you felt it was the need to acknowledge "Beck Fenton" which you have done in a fine way. Also you acknowledged your friends from the past. Now you must admit that you acknowledged 'Bea' for what she has accomplished and justifiable so. Well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings n Hugs!

Surviving difficult times and events builds character. Strong resilient character.

So, why does it make complete and total sense to me that you were a creative writing teacher?

Good stuff!

I did enjoy reading your acknowledgment to the one who led you to FanStory, although, doggone it, Liz, I have the hardest time following Bea's tale ... and I'm sure the problem is with me. Maybe I have lost the link with my inner child ... and this is targeted to the 4 to 9-year-old. I'm wondering if you are going to have artwork accompanying your text. I'm sure it would help, especially with the four-year-olds and me. I do wish you the greatest success with it!

Thank you for your involved review. The target audience is 4th+ graders age 9+. This is the 3rd in the series. If you don't know Bea, then you miss her back story, motivation, routine, perspective, and spiritual practice. These chapters follow my growth, the lessons I learned, the losses I've experienced, ways to cope, to trust, and to begin again.
