Good post about games but it sounds more like a story than a poem.

i'd call this a haibun (but that could be just me lol)
i liked the prose-verse and the senryu was very good
it all had good flow
one suggestion i have is maybe try a tealish background to blend with the background of the picture? just a thought ;)

This was an interesting Chapter, because I was surprised to learn some of this. I was a Nintendo kid. Your writing is interesting and compelling. There is one note I have: Not everyone is into videogames,
because, to some people, it seems lame.
(It what?) If videogames, than they seem lame. If you mean playing video games, than it is correct. Some people think playing video games is lame.
Your choice but the verb should agree with the noun. It's not clear this way.
I enjoyed reading your good Chapter, though. Best wishes!

I remember years ago we had Nintendo hand held games for Christmas in our house and it was addictive, I wasted many hours on it and so did the rest of my family. It was then I realised that it was unproductive and mind boggling and I have never touched a video game since, but as you say this name is synonymous with quality, I enjoyed your honest write Alicia, love Dolly x

I didn't know Nintendo existed before the fall of the Ottoman Empire which about 1922, but it did come into prominence in recent times, but I must admit, I didn't know when. Beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy

Thanks for giving us that background information! I'm glad you researched Nintendo. I can't imagine that the company is really that old and I never really played any of their games. Great info!
