And man can only fly with the aid of devices. Unless a very large flying animal swoops down and carries him off. Then he would be too terrified to enjoy the view.

That was a very interesting and informative poem. So many flying creatures I didn't know about.

Good work! I'm just learning about Free Verse, Poetry. I just read the best tutorial. I have no more sixes, a misfortune I fail to understand each day. I imagine the flying animals are afraid of us too because, when we fly, we fly in metal, which could hurt them. I don't think I should let my mind get too free-versey.lol If they want free verse, oh they will get free verse! Joking I'm still learning. Best wishes! :)) Alex

Hi there,

I thought from the initial couple of lines that this would rhyme the way through but it didn't and it jarred a little as a result.

I think you could expand on this with a bit more on each animal.
