This is a wonderful loop poem of your faith. It uses all the lights of the sky as the eyes and light of God. It tell how your ability to use your words in poems is a gift of grace. It also shows how faith gives you the strength to get through the hard times life gives you,
This could be a modern psalm.

Really love the word play and flow of this Lisa. I'm no poet, but like a Forrest Gump might say, "I know what good poetry is." Of course he said that about love. I also appreciate the spiritual aspect. I was taught that it is natural to find God in nature if you just open your eyes. And please do tell what historical site you happen to march people to and through?

Very relaxing. It had a steady beat to it as I read it aloud. I felt as if I was on a smooth ocean, just floating about and recharging. A note to all about taking the time needed just to be.

Question:
When I write a Loop poem, I have a difficult time stopping! Do you? I just want to go on and on, and I realize that could be suicide, but it happens! :)

Thanks for your nice comments Diane. I do find I have a tendency to continue with more stanzas - and this poem had an extra stanza that I ditched as making the poem overly long - but I make myself stop by imposing a condition on myself that it must loop right back to the very first word I used... and that can be rather difficult, so it absorbs my mind rather than rambling on.

You have shone you own grace on me with this starry review rating. Thank you! I am living an overly busy life at the moment so achieving a feeling of serenity in this poem was probably at the basis of writing it.... all subconsciously led.

I have never been a great fan and loop poetry format. It is confusing to me. The reason it is confusing is because I have to listen to it rather then read it with my eyes my problem is that I have, low vision and it is very hard for me to read anything. Patricia
