I liked the form used here. I think it is the kind of form that would appeal to younger readers, too. Others pointed out a typo, 'light buld' which should be 'light bulb.' This poem is funny and thoughtful. Of course, it always pays to go back to original sources.

So very cleaver! As in, Lantian Man who invented the cleaver 600,000 years ago (or so they say).
You can't tell me my life isn't better because of the cleaver. I mean, chicken heads don't come off by their selves.... (;-o)

I like your humor, Alicia! And yes, the way they taught us history in the past is no longer how we learn it now. They try to be more accurate but like you said, it "changes lives" when they change the "history" depending on who tells it.

This was an interesting read. There are so many facts out there that are not true, or are not quite true. It feels like a huge change to acknowledge these, but also, how does this affect me? It doesn't. I like that you looked at that angle. One thing, you have a typo, "light buld." The poem was funny and thought-provoking.
