A good line: " If looks could kill, I'd be dead." You always use metaphors effectively: " The magic bubble had burst--or so he'd thought." & "You're not these scars!" "He convinced himself this was goodbye," But is it? Nice ending

Hi Sally,
Your novel has everything... good and evil, angels and demons, a healing, a wedding, love stories, close calls, new beginnings, solving a cold case, family reunion, and the renowned blind detective coming to the rescue with her team.
Tommy and Willa's romantics are being followed by Simon and Candace now. But Sam Farnsworth is Fee's attorney, and what will he do? I sure hope that the Aspen Grove police keep him locked up... safe and sound behind bars. If he is able to escape, Simon is in deep trouble. Perhaps Candace and Daniel, too.
I have to wonder who Fee's "connections" are. I'm sure that there are men (and perhaps women) who need to be prosecuted as well. Just how many Tammys are there? How many are still alive somewhere? How many have been killed in their evil schemes? There are so many "missing persons" across the country these days... where are they?
Nicely penned! Looking forward to Chapter 25!
Hugs,
Kimbob

Aw, thank you, Kim! Wow, such a wonderful surprise to see you on Monday! I?m so glad you enjoyed it all. Tammy Perez and Tammy Sue Vance are the same person. That is one of the reasons why the blind detective is in Aspen Grove. The sleuthing cold case detective tracked her down. Tammy called home on special occasions but never said anything. The calls were traced to pay phones in the Aspen Grove area. This clue is a few chapters back. Thank you, again. Sending you my best today as always.

I'm glad to be caught up! I hate it when I miss a chapter. I'm happy that Simon and Candace have declared their love. I always thought that they belonged together. Fee is up to no-good, I can tell, because he's still alive! I look forward to the next chapter.

This is a really great chapter you have penned. I sat glued to my seat at the table as I read this. I am hoping they do get married and far away from the evil ones! Very good descriptive words and great dialogue also. love and blessings, Teri

That was a lovely scene between Simon and Candace, two very hurt people finding love and peace with each other, even though there is still a threat to them both. Beautifully done, Sally, another good chapter.
cheers,
valda

Awww, that was so sweet. I'm sure Candace would have known all along that Simon was in love with her. How could she not? When someone stays in a situation like that for you, you know it.

This was a sweet chapter. It was good to see Simon learn that his life was not the way he saw it. Candice loved him. You have written a beautiful bit of true love into you story. With all the bad things there are those who are finding true happiness.

What a beautiful chapter. I am hoping his father (Simon's) or his father's minions will not get to him.

Just one tiny spag. Afterwards, he hurried [to] up to the next level

Sal, this was terribly romantic, of course, and we all love romance:-) But the entire time I was reading it I was waiting for something bad to happen. I know Fee has something up his sleeve, I just hope it doesn't mean exacting some terrible revenge against Simon!

Can't wait to see what happens next!!

In the paragraph, "Afterwards, he hurried to up to the next level . . ." Take out one "to"
