He does the grocery shopping???? And washes dishes, too? Good grief, Debi, spare him the poetry. HOWEVER, I love "step out of the eighth grade and join adulthood."
Have to admit to "the remote possibility" that I never heard "the age old expression," about assuming. Sometimes, you just do. :)

My dearest Santha, so so sorry that this is so late. I just get so behind me, but I try to still get to everything. Thank you so much for this amazing review and comments of my KFC story and for the lovely gift of six stars. You have no idea how much it means to me.
Also, I am just starting your birthday poem and was wondering if you could give me a few more details that I forgot the exact details. I know that your name is a combo of you and your husbands. His name?? Also that your son and family lives in Taiwan or some Asian continent? It's been so long since we have talked about it, but I never forget about a grandmother's love. Also anything else that you wish to tell me? I will be posting it on the fifth so am looking forward to seeing our birthday girl then.

My husband's name is Kumar .That is why my fan story name is a combination..san plus ku. My younger son lives in Singapore .he has two daughters ,Leya and Amaya.(8 and 4 respectively) I just came back from Singapore.
I was a teacher .taught English for undergrads .
i am very spiritual. i believe there is only one God and we happen to address them by different names
Though I am a Hindu I am familiar with Christian religion and i have attended church many times ..
I do Sudoku and crossword everyday.
reading and listening to music are my hobbies.
nothing much .I am pretty much an ordinary woman !

Thanks John, I'm almost 2 months older than you and as long as ) am the youngest in the family then l have time - to get used to the older ages. LOL my husband is over 3 yrs older too, so no biggie.

If I were a juror, I'd be holding out for the chicken as I watched the rest of the proceedings. Good humorous post. I know many people who can't or won't take the time to experience what poetry has to offer. What matters is that you chose not to go to DC.

This court case and complaints were all fiction, but non-fiction was my husband hating poetry and doing the shopping and helps with the cooking and dishes. I purposely wrote this to show the good guy he is, gave him the better attorney and made him look good. Lol, even in a vote, the writer still can control the outcome.. in my authors notes it also tells how I hate his whiny country music but still married almost fifty years. I've also got a husband like that. He does most of the cooking and the shopping. I likes to see me create, lol. This couple should learn to appreciate each other more. So he doesn't like poetry? What's the problem, millions of men and women don't. I'm sure he does something she doesn't like, but I didn't hear him moan about it. No, I'm on his side. Just think of all the time he saves her by doing the grot jobs, while she sits and writes. When would she have time to write if he made it her do his jobs as well. My husband is the same, but, bless his heart, he will listen to me when I read them out for his opinion. He also reads my books, so I'd never find your husband guilty. He's too much like mine. xxx
