Third in a series is quite sad in the beginning.

This is very cute, nice, and I actually found myself quite captivated by the story line even though you were probably aiming for kids.
I guess that shows where my maturity falls.

Good job here, my friend. You have a nice brain. (Good luck during zombie apocalypse!)

This rescue plan between your three main characters.
Yes, was very wonderfully written rich in theme and imagery.
It also, read well and Flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
Hopefully this will work out in the end for the poor captured pup.
Thank you for sharing this and have a Blessed Sabbath Sunday.

I love this, the antagonists come up against a wily snake, they are trying to steal away a lovely dog, but they are thwarted by these three protagonists, I'm not sure what Spidie is, a spider? And Bea? A girl? Well done Liz, blessings Roy

Bea ia a bear. She named herself that as a little bear when her mom was writing her name so she could see what her name would look lke & dropped a drop of honey on the R so printed BEA. Spidie is what Bea named the spider. This is an autobiographical allegory. You know Bea...you know me lol

What I appreciated most about this post was that Bea realized the need to work with her friends as a team to help others. Too often we want to help and don't get all the information and it becomes less helpful. That she had a team and did the proper intel first with Snakely's intel and Spidey's web trap, made this more helpful to all.
I still wished for more dialogue as the friends were planning.

Thank you for sharing this tale with us. All children need to learn to plan together and work as a team. It's hard for them to do and this short story perfectly describes it. I enjoyed reading.

This was a great continuation chapter, Liz. Bea, Spidie and Snakely definitely had a plan, which was a good one to save Lady. This was great. They would save Lady because they decided to do so. The gentleman with the van was a blind as a bat, his glasses meant everything to him. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings n Hugs!!!

This is a wonderfully vivid tale of rescue and heroics by some colourful characters. Children as well as adults will enjoy this. Descriptions are superb: the tangling of Spidey's web and the gumming up of the kidnapper's glasses were my favourite and the whole 'attack' reminded me of something from Home Alone. Perfectly crafted piece of fiction. Well done! Debbie
