Thank you for this wonderful haibun. I welcome your thoughtful words. Yes, the pain is still raw, but I have been so comforted by the support from so many wonderful people on FS. You have helped see me through it. I like your positive ending that a new day will dawn despite the darkened sky. judi

Nice words of support when support is needed. I liked the closing segment and that sunset sunrise image. This is the classic metaphor for the cycles of life and the fact that as one cycle ends, another begins. It's important to be there for the people who need a shoulder to lean on estory

These are really nice thoughts to add to Judi's book. It is so hard to lose someone you love. I remember when he first got sick and she was left with having to take over the things she had depended on him to do. It is stressful but I'm sure it's been a learning experience. Now she must go through the grieving process. I know she will come through it all and life will be good again. Until then, she knows her FanStory friends care and are there for her.

This haibun, To Judi, has the proper formatting and comes at this juncture when friends and support are most welcome. Loss causes an imbalance, so we need more people on our side.

That is absolutely beautiful, Ulla. I've never written a haibun, I wouldn't know where to start. But I know this one will touch Judi's heart. The picture and presentation is perfect. Well done, my friend. Love, Sandra xx

Aw, thank you so much my dear friend. I like the haibun, one of my favourite poetry forms. Probably because of the prose part. I'm so glad you liked it, I hope Judi will as well. Love, Ulla xxx

A moving and glorious, Haibun, Ulla.
I know judi will be most appreciative of your caring and concern so eloquently expressed in your poetic offering.
Thank you for sharing your poetic creativity and heartfelt friendship for a dear friend who is surely hurting but surrounded by love and care...

Comment from Gloria ....
This is a terrific haibun, Ulla. The prose section filled with vivid imagery, emotional tone and then additional thoughts presented with a very well written haiku.
I am sure judi will be heartened by your sentiment and thought.

Ulla - such a sweet and thoughtful sentiment. You're heart is good. The words of your poem translate that us as I'm sure it does to Judi.

Ulla! This is eloquently elegant. So peaceful and with such sincerity my own eyes brim, thinking of the essence of your heart as you reach out to Judi! What a perfect image, as well! A perfect Haibun...and a true friend expressing what we all hope Judi will find comfort in as the days flow by!
