I am so touched by your comments. Everyone on FS has been so wonderful and supportive. I know words aren't easy at a time like this, but it is the thought that's important, and I certainly appreciate the thought you and others have put into writing your words of condolence. They have been a great comfort. judi

Oh Judi, what you received, you have already given to us tenfold. I truly believe that this relationship between us all, has been fate by our higher power, a gift He knew that we all needed in our life. We may not all need the same aptitude of caring as you do right now, but sooner or later we will. And I thank God that we have each other. I know I tend to be a bit over the top with emotions, but please know they are all genuine, and my prayers continue that He gives you and yours peace in the difficult days ahead. With so much love!! This is so wonderful to understand how you as an empath you share with us all that needs healing and prayer in a member of the FanStory family. This is very compassionate.

Participating in FanStory is taking a trip around the world but instead of eighty days it is a three-hundred and sixty day excursion, tiring especially in the middle of the night. I went to sleep too early. It's nearly four a.m. What am I doing up. Goodnight.

How beautifully you have expressed the empathy we feel for Judi and her pain. How true it is that we, who deal in words, often find ourselves at a loss when emotions are strongest. No words quite seem strong enough or appropriate enough for the situation, but still we try and are perhaps surprised how others relate and understand. Thank you for this tender expression which touched my heart and will be so meaningful to Judi I know.

What a great picture this written priceless piece this is. For if I lost someone, I would feel I would have a friend just like you in my life to make me feel better. Thank you for sharing and you deserved all the stars.

Debi,
Your exceptionally poignant poem flows really nicely. I love the sentiment. I always feel inept when trying to console someone. But I know a hug or a kind word can suffice.
Good luck with this poem, Debi, and for all your endeavors.
Cindy

Well sis there you go again. I was a chaplain in hospice for 15 years and a hospital chaplain for 16. GRIEF IS COMPLICATED on SO MANY LEVELS AND IT ALWAYS COMES AT A VERY INCONVENIENT TIME. IT'S NEVER COMFORTABLE BUT IT IS UNAVOIDABLE. YOU VERY SUCCINCTLY REMINDED US IN COMPASSIONATE verbiage how we struggle to find the right words to say to those that we love and care so much for. Sometimes, the only thing we can do is just be there for them. Job well done. Embrace the love from above!

Thanks Wayne for this awesome review and kindest of words for my poem for Judi. I came over to visit you a while ago. I had heard that you had written a piece, and my intentions were to read and review. However I got a little sidetracked as you probably already know by now. I was still chuckling after leaving my review and never did get over to the chapters for Judi, to review that one of yours. You have a way of capturing my attention and sending me off to another place. (A little ADHD might have a little to do with it too tho) lol.
    Thanks again my dear friend!!

This is such a precious and touching message to a person who is hurting. It reveals your broken heart for that person and I'm sure when she reads it, she will know how much you deeply care and would do anything to comfort her.
Beautifully written from a deeply wounded and caring soul
