Somehow I missed this chapter and I had to go back and find it. I'm glad I did since quite a lot happened. Fee is a real piece of work. No evidence, indeed! I will be sorry to see the end of this book.

Hi Sally,
I'm just wondering how far you'll take this story. There are a few things to clear up... like sweeping up those people of Aspen Grove who were part of the Satanic cult. There must be more than just Fee. But I don't think any have been identified yet, (except perhaps Professor Gaston Paulette). Will Fee surrender their names? Or perhaps, there are names somewhere in Fee's mansion? They must be rounded up. One or more may have been involved in the abduction of Tammy Sue Vance and Candace Van Velzen, and perhaps even others. Fee's staff... Raoul, Anita, Tammy, Keith, and Orsen might be able to help in nailing some members of the cult.
These young women have to be reunited with their families. (Did Dan and Maggie Van Velzen arrive in Aspen Grove yet to see Candace? I forget. If so, it must have been quite a tearful reunion... and meeting their grandson, Daniel, for the first time.)
I guess the thing that surprised me the most in this chapter was the sudden absence of angels. No sign of Patience or Faithful when Sally's and Willa's lives were in danger. All I can assume is that Faithful was just there with the angel band to take care of Nix and Deecayed, and then exited. But what about Patience. Surely she would have helped with Fee's capture. Where did she go?
Another thing that I wondered about... was there a guard stationed at the hospital to keep an eye on Fee?
Lots of action in this chapter, Sally. The blind detective could have easily been shot and killed. Same for Willa. Where was King?
I could visualize the birds flying scared through the sky at the gunshot that wounded Fee in the shoulder. It could have turned out much worse.
Nicely penned! I found no need for a single edit.
Looking forward to see how you're going to finish off this novel.
Hugs,
Kimbob

    Dear Kim,
Please forgive me for being so late with this review response. I really appreciate your wonderful, detailed review and generous superstars. It means the world to me that you enjoy my books. This may be my last one, as my eyes are in serious decline. One day at a time and one chapter at a time.

Sending you my best today as always.

    Hi Sally,
All you need is a typist who will work with you line by line, chapter by chapter. The story is in your head. You tell it, and let them type it. Don't let vision stop you. It's something to overcome, and you're an overcomer. You've got a great idea going with this blind detective solving cases. Go for it! No surrender!
    Hugs,
    Kimbob

The good guys and girls have their man, a truly evil waste of human flesh. It also turns out that he kidnapped a child from Luisanna and then nearly burned her to death.

Sal, This is a very good and very well written chapter. It makes me think of when I worked for our local P.D. I worked in the records division and also as an Executive Secretary for a Captain. You used great descriptive words and great dialogue. Thanks for sharing. love and blessings Teri

I liked the part where Fee lost his smirk. He knows he's going away for a long time. Good thing Sally knows how to take care of herself, otherwise she might have been in trouble when Fee grabbed her.

It seems Sally wasn't helpless in spite of being theatened at gun point. I'm glad this even character has be arrested. I feel bad for her son. I guess we hear more about him in the next chapter. Excellent and enjoyable writing.

Well, I'm glad that he's been arrested, I just hope he doesn't have some evil trick up his sleeve in order to get himself free. Given who he is, I'm fearing the worst.

Very good chapter, Sal. Good pace and good dialogue to keep things moving and move the story along.

See you next week!

xx
Pam

Great chapter Sally with Fee successfully captured after a tense takedown. You built the drama and tension of his capture well and finished the capter with the glimmer in his eyes that makes me think there's more to come. Well written, cheers
