It's not at all a "dumb curse" as it can change an "air head" to a deep thinker wrestling with ideas and forming them into verse! But this is a fun poke at poetry.

I agree with you - the 'curse' is that it can become a time-consuming distraction when trying to pin down those ideas while knowing there are other more pressing tasks to attend to!
