A good chapter Sally with the blind detective and King joining in the hunt. Just a couple of Typos - profound sadness that's (that) lingers here
but as soon (as) I had the chance
This story is going weĺl,
Cheers
Valda

Another great read and glad you all turned up even if a bit late. Well done and looking forward to where we are going, nearing the end I surmise? No spags.

Eventually, a perpetual sinner reaches a point of lack of satisfaction with accumulated wealth and power, plus fear of coming retribution. It seems that Fee is in that moment, and Patience is both keeping him from doing more harm and giving him time to repent before his fate is sealed. Firing his pistol shows his level of desperation.

As usual, you use plausible dialog to convey what is occurring, so all those assembled will be properly informed before action is taken to find and arrest Fee.

When the whole crew arrives at Fee's estate, it is interesting that Willa and Tommy sense a "profound sadness" lingering there.

I especially like the paragraph where Tommy wonders what the confident, fast-walking blind detective eats for breakfast.

The next-to-last paragraph makes it clear that the team is now on Fee's trail, so we readers have much to anticipate in the coming chapters.

Superb, and splendidly illustrated with the tree-like angel image.

Well, Sally is a take-control kind of detective, isn't she? I like that about her. Fee'd better watch out trying to boss Patience around. Another good chapter, Sally.

It's time to party! Sally, the King is on the trial with muscle Samson close behind. Fee has nowhere to run and no place to hide. Yet, he took a shot at something unknown trying to bury a bone. What kind of angelic creature is that? I guess i'll have to wait to satisfy my curiosity. Thank you for sharing.

Sally:

As usual, I loved this. And, of course, I am going to have to make the time to go back and peruse this from the very beginning. I'm not as resilient as I used to be, my friend, so it is hard for me to review others and post my work. I am trying! jan

This picture you used must have inspired you description of the spirit that held Fee. I sure a bullet would do a spirit no harm. I'm glad you (the blind lady) and the dogs are into the search. You story hold the reader interest and we're always ready to read more.

To be a detective and to have a dog like King would be an understatement. I wonder if there is a dog named King and is as intelligent as the fictional dog in the story. Unto next chapter.... will they soon capture the bad fellow. (Fee)?

Typo : Isn't that the way of the narcissist, they think they are demigods appointed to rule the world? One would have to be a fool to not believe that in many ways dogs have more integrity than any man, more heroic too! the forces swear by them, beautifully written Sally blessings Roy
