A little ego centric, but do you mention the coffee just for me???lol You will have the reader leaning forward: "Nothing he said altered the creature's position, as it forbade him to move past the porch. " A nice bit of curious humor: "My wife and partner had to reach over and close my gaping mouth." The reader wonders what disruption will arise: "that we'll have Fitzgerald Elling behind bars sooner than later." You have the gift of deawing the reader in: "Willa touched my hand gently, and said, "I feel something, Tommy. I can't put my finger on it though." This is excellent: ", "King tells me it's the man we're looking for, and Samson has just confirmed it" This was very good A+ material

Hi Sally,
Well, the blind detective, Miles and the two dogs are on the case. Fee doesn't stand a chance. And if he thinks he can kill an angel with a bullet, he's sadly mistaken.
What an awesome sight that must have been for Fee as he stepped outside the cabin..."Shrouded in white mist was an otherworldly creature, hovering like a giant hummingbird over the ground. The form resembled an angel, with branch-like wings on each side of its transparent body, the wingspan extending far beyond his peripheral sight."

Imagine the thoughts of all involved in this investigation, especially those who aren't Christians as they hear this... "Here's the thing that makes me hopeful. The house staff reported an angel put out the fire and escorted them to safety. Each one described her as having long, golden hair, enormous wings, and a crown on her head."
The repercussions here are tremendous. The knowledge of an actual angel being present and involved in the investigation would be mind-blowing. I mean, it's knowledge of God and Heaven, unmistaken evidence. Proof, if you will. There wouldn't be a "doubting Thomas" among them. Their lives would be changed forever.

So, Tommy and Willa, Sally and Miles, and King & Samson are getting prepared to meet up with Fee in the next few minutes. And Patience is already at the scene. The next chapter should be wild.

"Filling the atrium was (most) every law enforcement officer in Aspen County, along with our visiting friends from Lafayette Township PD." ... (did you mean to use "almost" here?)

Nicely penned, Sally!

Hugs,
Kimbob

Thank you for the super review and generous star blast, Kim. I am so very blessed. I?m glad you enjoyed it all. Yes, I meant to say (almost) as Aspen County is depicted as being much larger than Aspen Grove and encompasses the entire area and Meyer?s Hollow.

So glad you like. Thank you, again! Sending you my very best today as always.

I think Fee is lucky Patience is allowing him to wait for the police. I can't imagine the shot he fired will have much effect. King will have his ass in his teeth within the hour, I think.

This is a very interesting story and quite intriguing. You have written it very well and it flows smoothly when it is rather loud. I enjoyed listening to it. I wish you the very best and all that you write Patricia

Fee is not enjoying being a fugitive, but I am sure he thinks he will get away. Sally Law and the dogs are certain they can catch him. Does he have enough evil comrades to defeat them? The suspense builds. You might want to make one correction: . . . APB has (been) sent . . .

Well, Sally and the dogs may be on the case, but Fee isn't going anywhere with Patience holding him in place until the calvary arrives!

Sally is an interesting character (just like you!) - a smart, confident woman. Great character for your story.

See you next week:-)

Looks like Fee will pay the full price for his sins and evil, if not even an angel can bring him to acknowledge his evil ways and turn from them. Now that Sally and King are there it should be resolved quickly for right and justice to prevail. Well written.

Ooooh I just cannot get enough of this thrilling chiller. I am so happy that Sally has joined the team, as she is such a wonderful and experienced detective. Much like her real self, so intuitive and knows the drift of things when others are blind to the situation. Yet Tommy, Willa and others are so good too and I adore the loving couple who fight crime and work for love, family and goodness by day together. And at night together are still the loving couple, who make love and goodness, from the privacy of their own bedroom, and hopefully on their way to starting a new family. And to Fee I say, you can run, but you can't hide. Your evil deeds are about to come to an end and I just pray they find you before you find Candace and Simon. Oh no, is this good news or bad that I am talking to the characters are real. Lol....This chapter is no different as far as the chill factor goes.. it gets more excited with each one, but I am so hard to please, as I just get enough. You always leave me wanting more. Thank you my friend for another lovely chapter, and like always, so looking forward to the next one.
