We've got a very long coastline, I think it's actually about 20,000 kms long with many shipwrecks, but we do have strategically placed lighthouses, but prabably not as many as the US, well done Alicia, keep going, blessings Roy

Australia has 350 lighthouses
New Zealand has 23 lighthouses

They are mostly automated, thanks to cellular technology... However, still have to be there as a Plan B. You're nice. Thank you :)

This is really good you've put some good effort into this I'm quite impressed! And I can certainly appreciate your subject matter as lighthouses are in fact ancient Inventions back beginning with the Egyptians and the pharaohs created by Cleopatra If I am not mistaken. Probably eaten older than that I would imagine. Having said that I find your work to be aesthetically pleasing structurally sound, good spelling and well written! This was well written rich in Theme and Imagery.
Note: It's always nice to learn more and new things.
From this part of South Jersey on Long Beach Island and a town called Barnegat Light.
There is a old lighthouse Right along the water line that they have Entitled,
"Old Barney"
It's nice to just climb up and venture upward looking out over the Atlantic Ocean.
