A wonderful poem which marks a terrible moment in your family's lives and the tragic irony that this happened on April Fools' Day! It is a great tribute to you that you have been able to write this!

This day will shortly be ending in 7 hours. I will have peace for the next 11 months.
Then it will start all over again March 1st 2024 like it has done for the past 20 years like it shall always do.
For a parent's worst nightmares of the loss of a child.
It's a gift that continues to give and give and give.
As long as you live.
Thanks Sarah and As Always,

I think April fool's day started because a number of countries decided they didn't want to accept the Gregorian calendar and traditionally they had hace April 1 as their beginning of the year, and I guess like you, we think it might fit us, well done, Ricky, blessings Roy

I'm so glad I was able to touch and reach you on this day. Jessica.
This means a lot to me and also to Jason and my past wife. Carolyn.

Good theme! I liked how you put this together; emotions are evident in the writing. The rhyming works in most parts of the work, but it seems to struggle a bit in others. Repetitive phrasing can also be difficult to work with--I know from my own writing that developing a long piece is not easy and requires numerous edits.

Losing my Only son Jay. (comma after 'son')
.Yes, to create on paper. (don't period before the "Yes")
