I enjoyed this shortie a lot. You set the scene well and introduce the narrator quickly as someone searching for"enduring love" and finding it. The cat caught me by surprise and we are happy its owner is also appealing. Rod

Okay, you got me. I assumed, guessed and speculated that it was a cat or dog before getting to the end. I pride myself on catching the twists before they coma and usually do. You got me with the last sentence. For that you get a sixer. Nice work!
