It sound like 'one of those day' that occur every so often, but way more than we like. Usually, these are the types of days we dread at the time but find so humorous later--sometime much later. Love the "Grr" when you found Sunny had not been fed after such a tiring day. I admire your ability to moan on the inside and smile on the outside. Not everyone does that.

Lol. Yes. Exhausting, but delightful children, and I do enjoy the fact that I can see them and interact. Once they are all at school, if a bit older, there?ll be much less time and need for Nan. Lovely review. Thank you.

LOL I do understand. Some days it seems all we do it play taxi. I remember those days with my boys. I have often wondered how I did it all when they were all at home doing different activities at the same and sometimes different times. Thank you for sharing and bringing back this memory.

As I have grown older I can only manage to do one task for someone else per day, anymore than that and I am overwhelmed. OMG, poor you! Maybe any age is unsuitable for being a Nanny. Though I was one for 3 little boys when in my forties and must admit I found them delightful but exhausting. The best thing was we all sat around a huge piece of butcher's paper after school and drew stuff. One day Benjy (6yo) drew a very good wasp and informed me that, This is a wasper. He sprays poison from his penis.
BTW I just found a short story I wrote many years ago. I found it absolutely hilarious so I'm going to put it up on the site. It's called A Temporary Peace. It may offend some of our Christians, I'm afraid. (or AM I afraid?)

Being a nanny is not an easy job most of the time. Unfortunately for me, I never had the chance to really be around my grandchildren very much when they were growing up. And I miss that very much. I do hope that you have gotten some rest by now and that you're doing well. Patricia.
