I bet I gained five pounds just reading this. Especially the slopes and the ice cream and for sure the others as well. Sounds as if someone is spoiled.

I don't want to even try to count the calories for half of this wonderfulness. But, you have made me hungry, and I just ate.
Great food, filled with sugar, grease and fat, yeah we all know they're bad for us but... they taste so good.

Hi John, it's a good thing that I ate dinner or you would have made me insanely hungry. Tonight we had chicken cutlets. Today, as I was breading my cutlets, I was thinking about the yin and yang between your wife and son on which/how is the correct way to bread the cutlets. I'm in your son's camp, but I use to be in your wife's camp. Lol. Reviewing your menu choices, my husband would have the cheese cake with a scoop of his favorite ice cream. He makes no sacrifices when it comes to food. Also, the unhealthier it is, the better. He is not into low-fat, no-fat, and definitely no sugar substitutes. Lol.
J, I enjoyed reading your story, especially because I'm a foody as is (almost) everyone else is in my family. When it comes to holidays, some say it's not about the food, it's about the people. My younger son says, it ALL about the food, and I agree. Lol. I'll have to read your reviews and see if people who live in other parts of the country and world can/will relate to your story, and all of your delicious recipes.

Yes. I read about that. I was there twice. Once for my cousins wedding and once with my in-laws, maybe for their anniversary???
My wife and I got married at the Wayne Manor, way back then.
I?m feeling 100% better. Thank you for asking. This old coot stills got some life, as they say. Though I?m not sure who they are.

Glad you are feeling better. My husband and I were married at
The Manor. We're sad to see it
close. We had our 25th Anniv. in the same room that we were married in.
At least our kids got to see the place.
Time to start thinking about tomorrow's dinner. My hubby ate ALL the cutlets tonight. No leftovers. Lol, but Ugh. I was looking forward to an easy leftover night. Be well, stay safe. It's crazy out there. M
