Well, Bill, when a black cat cross the road in front of you it means bad luck. But as the cat in the picture is white, it should be all right. Oh dear! Ulla:)))

LOL Be careful how you use the color reference so you'll not be accused of being racist. I've known some pretty fisty white cats. Don't let the color make you assume they're anemic.

The cat from hell? It is odd but in UK black cats are lucky while in most of Europe they are associated with witchcraft. In Italy they used to be thrown from bell towers! Apparently this is still done, but with the 'stuffed' variety!

Hmm. Because black contains all the colors? Or because of various stories about black cats? It's not clear the reason for why the black cat is so dominant but there are a lot more of them.
