I like how you SET THE SCENE and INTRODUCE YOUR CHARACTERS. The camera focuses on a piece of cheese that Penny has hidden. Then we hear planes and sirens. We assume this could be the Ukraine and her city is being bombed. But honestly, I am not sure what you are trying to say in your last line. If she dies, won't Bitty, too?
