This fits the challenging syllable requirement. The topic is a deep and always-relevant one. The mix of internal and external rhyme was creative. The idea that "pain and cries be all that dies," is an optimistic one, and something encouraging to think on.

A beautiful poem for the 1-1-2-12 challenge.
It's tough (at least for me) to put something so profound into so few words and syllables. It's like a poets version of flash fiction.

An excellent entry in this 1/1/2/12 poetry contest. How could I not like this? Indeed the only way I know of fulfilling, or rather curing one of all one's maladies, is give what ails you, and everything else to God, beautifully written, good luck, blessings Roy

This is a good message for the reader to be invited to reflect upon the first three words. They all take courage. Just to stay at a daunting task takes courage. I don't know if you are familiar with my role model, Sue Aikens who knows how to face any challenge. She stays, tries or works at it & knows no one is going tpo do it for her, so she must.
