The image is so creepy; you have this right in saying that Halloween is for ghosts and goblins; vampires as well. You never know who is under the mask either. Beware!

The poem conforms to the 1,1,2,12 pattern. It conveys a meaning also. I still don't understand the "why" of a 1,1,2 1 or similar format. I personally think they do not achieve anything in poetry. For example, your poem would have a more impactful effect on me if it was a 2-liner.
Also, I wonder if we can still call Halloween "sacred".
