Enjoying this story very much. Not many men would do what Ben did to give a young woman such unconditional acceptance and the chance to have a new start. He is strong and courageous to stand up to Salinger. Well written.

Typos in introduction:
"Off the road a bit" not "of"
"Taking over" not "talking"

Thank you. I tend to just throw words into the intro and Author's Notes at random.
Prob'ly was it me, I'd've ignored God's leading and stuck with the wagon train girl - if I'd ever left Arkansas in the first place. - All to mine and the Kingdom's detriment. (sad face here)

This is an excellent chapter. I like the idea that Ben is continuing God's work. I look forward to finding out if Jackie gets out of town. There is no room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

It's a rare man, (or woman) that will accept someone no matter what they are or what they do, that's pretty close to how Jesus is, they don't see the sin, only the potential within a person. I love this, starting with a poor young man, damaged in the womb, but relatively normal on the inside. Beautifully written Wayne, blessings Roy

I was told you were a western story author, Wayne. I am too as well as a poet. I think it was Helen (Lenochka) who told me about you. I will be reviewing your book. Look forward to future chapters. Love the fact Ben is doing God's work as well. I have a book of Spiritual poetry in my Portfolio and one on the Parables of Jesus. Well done my friend. Nancy:)

Very good very engaging quite an interesting story. I'eve got a few things and this one in particular. It was very well done looks professional indeed.
I was fully engaged in the storyline and i'm waiting for the next submission. Hope Ben feels better soon!
So all in all aesthetically pleasing I find the issues with punctuation grammar spelling sentence structure or subject matter it all seems in line to me and really good!
Must have locked and I hope you have a great day!

Thank you. Ben, I hope to present, is just an ordinary perdon trying to follow God's leading.
