Like "bent but not broken." When I was reading this poem, I thought about when a person gets osteo as they get older and tired. They are bent but not broken like the flower's stem after a hard rain.

We think of the need for resilience, and how seemingly fragile plants resist rain and storms. We admire the small heroes of our world, the ones who overcome adversity.

This may be my favorite, yet. Beautifully written, as always. The symbolism and message conveyed is one to be heard, and it was perfectly delivered. I love this so much, excellent job. Thank you for sharing!

Beautifully written and stated .
A poem of hope for human resilience. Seeing a flower or plant suddenly raise up when the sun comes out is comforting.
Best wishes

I have a feeling this poem is a metaphor for life. Much like the torrential rain bend the flower some of life's experiences bend us, but doesn't break us. We can come back stronger. Thank you for sharing this poem with us. I have a feeling it's a life experience.

Lovely poem depicting the resilience of a flower. Much like us we have the ability to bend and not break. We are resilient as well. I love the deep colors you have used. Beautiful!
