Read between the lines seems very relevant to the story. It makes the imagination go wild wondering what has been said that I am not seeing. This is very intriguing and makes the poem all the more enticing. Super job!

I love it! This could be the winner as you summarized the difficulty of poetry interpretation so humorously and honestly. Sometimes, we do completely come up blank. This is a nice word play, too because between the lines are blank lines! Hope this does well in the contest!!

Oh, I can understand it happens with prose, too. There is a "purple prose" which uses a lot of poetic devices that could make it hard to understand.

I like the simple but nice presentation too. Concrete images easy to visualize.
